Any plans for a new release?

I noticed that the latest release of this library is v1.4.0, published on October 4, 2025 which is now over 9 months ago. Are there any plans for a new release? Thanks!

We just released a new pre-release with the change to fetch instead of node-fetch.
You could give it a try, once we feel comfortable this will definitely be released.

Otherwise we should release with every kubernetes release.
Currently there is an issue it seems that we can not create pull requests from CI so we would have to do it manually.
I can give it a shot tomorrow.

Oh, sorry! I didn't notice the 2.0.0-rc.1 release earlier. Thanks for the heads-up, I'll test it out. Appreciate your help!
