Better for the translator, better for the user of translations.

Just to note that a consequence of this is that translations that relate to new features in master will still have to be merged to master.

IMO If we do that, we need to add a part of the commit hash to the version number of the language plugin. Otherwise users can not see, which language plugin they actually use.
